What are model boats?
Model boats are boats or ships made to scale. This means it is a miniature of the real thing. Most are boats that really exist or have existed, but there are also plenty of fictional variants. You buy such a boat in a kit and then you have to assemble it yourself.
There are static stand models, as well as sailing models that you can radio-control afterwards yourself. Warships, sailing ships and cruise ships are popular among modelers.
What do I need for my model boat?
For the boat building kits we offer, you don’t need glue. All parts click and slide together seamlessly thanks to good quality. For cutting out or pushing out the metal parts, pliers may be handy, but otherwise you won’t need many tools. For example, Metal Time’s pieces are taken from a sheet of metal and then bent into the right position.
The box of your model ship already contains everything you need namely. With a kit like this, you will have hours of fun. Each product comes with clear instructions so you will never get stuck in the building process.
