Italeri M4A3E8 Sherman “Fury” (1:35)

The M4 Sherman medium tank was the primary tank used by the United States during World War II. It was produced in a large number of units and formed the backbone of American armored forces during that period. It was produced in several variants and versions. Production of the M4A3E8 versions began in late 1944. Nicknamed the Easy Eight, the M4A3E8 made several technical improvements that improved the Sherman’s operational effectiveness. The 76mm M1 high velocity gun was flanked by a new horizontal volute suspension system (HVSS) that provided a better driving condition and ensured higher speed. The “Easy Eight” participated in the final stages of World War II and took an active part in the Korean War.
