Known as one of the most impressive tanks of World War II, the Panther tank was developed in response to the powerful Soviet tanks that outclassed the Panzer III and IV at the time. Equipped with a powerful 700 hp Maybach engine and the effective 75 mm KwK 42 cannon, the Panther offered a strong combination of armament and protection thanks to its angled armor. Deployed on several important fronts, from the Eastern Front to Italy and France, the tank was known for its mobility, speed and firepower.
