Italeri Leopard 1A5 (1:35)

During the 1960s, the advanced Leopard 1A5 entered service, crucial to the armored units of several NATO countries during the period of tension known as the “Cold War.” Equipped with a reliable 105mm cannon capable of firing various types of ammunition, this tank played a vital role in confronting the Warsaw Pact’s considerable tank fleet. The later version of this tank, the A5, marked a significant upgrade thanks to the integration of advanced computerized targeting and fire control systems into a new turret. Composite polycarbonate armor plates were also added, significantly increasing protection and resistance to enemy fire.
