Ordering and Shipping
We’re so glad you’d like to order from us! We want to make the process as pleasant as possible. Our standard shipping rate is €4.95 within the Netherlands. At the bottom of this page, you’ll find a table listing all other shipping rates. When you place your order, we’ll send you a Track & Trace code. This allows you to track your package so you’ll know exactly when to expect it. We have a good partnership with PostNL, so they’ll make sure you receive your package on time. During the checkout process, you can specify what should happen to your package if you’re not home. Options include having it delivered to a neighbor, having it redelivered, or picking it up at a pickup location.
Did you place your order over the weekend?
In that case, it will take a little longer for you to receive your package. The “Order by 11:30 p.m., delivered tomorrow” offer applies only on business days. If you place an order on Saturday or Sunday, it will be processed and shipped on Monday. This means you’ll receive your package on Tuesday.
Did you enter the wrong address?
Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about that now. Our ordering process is fully automated so that we can deliver the package as quickly as possible. If something did go wrong while you were entering your address and the package is returned to us as a return shipment, we reserve the right to charge you for the shipping costs. Providing the correct delivery address is the customer’s responsibility. In this case, it does not involve a return within the cooling-off period. This has been confirmed by the legal counsel at Thuiswinkel.org.
