Like the previous version, the RS3M 2020, Moyu decided to release an upgraded variant because of the weaker magnetic force in the cube. To reinforce this, they have ensured that 24 additional magnets have now been added to the edge pieces. This made the cube easier to handle and gave it better stability. You have a choice of five different versions, so there is something for everyone. We offer the maglev, ball-core UV and magnetic dual adjustment variants. This version features a so-called Ball Core, in which there is a ball placed around the core with eight magnets aimed at the corner pieces. In addition, there are also magnets at the bottom of the corner pieces that are attracted by the magnets in the core. This provides two main advantages. First, you experience a slightly stronger magnetic feeling with the cube. In addition, the cube also becomes more stable during use. This system, similar to that used in GAN 11-14, gives the cube an impressive quality. Moreover, like the slightly cheaper version, this variant also has the MagLev system. An additional addition is the protective and attractive UV coating on the plastic. This top-quality speed cube can undoubtedly compete with puzzles that cost twice as much.

MagLev means that the usual suspension with metal springs has been replaced by two repelling ring magnets. This causes one magnet to float above the other and creates a spring effect, avoiding friction between springs and rings. This results in a faster and quieter cube. It also reduces the chance of the annoying squealing noise that can occur with speedcubes without MagLev suspension. For a small additional cost over the standard version, this may be the ideal choice for those who want a fast and quality speedcube without overloading the wallet.

Of course, this variant comes with the familiar corner-to-edge magnets, which have become a standard on all really good speedcubes in recent years. The cube does not have repelling ring magnets as in the two slightly more expensive models, but don’t worry. The cube is naturally already incredibly fast straight out of the package. If you don’t like extremely fast (and potentially difficult to control) speedcubes, this variant may be the perfect choice for you. In addition to magnetization, this cube (like the other versions) also has MoYu’s patented Dual Adjustment system. With this system, you can easily adjust the spring force and degree of tightening of the puzzle to find the perfect feel in your cube.
