Want to join the battles over the Death Star? Then build Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing Starfighter\u2122 by Ugears<\/a> from the official Star Wars collection. The X-Wing was the last defense against the Galactic Empire’s superweapon and got its name from the S-foils that are in attack mode. Dodge TIE Fighters and use the Force to save the universe! <\/p>\n

This wooden<\/a> model has two functions in one: the spaceship and a stand that resembles the surface of the Death Star. The stand contains a motorized rocking mechanism that mimics the movements of the X-Wing, as in the movie. The ship and stand connect magnetically and can be easily detached. There are many movable parts for added realism: the cockpit hatch can open, the front and rear landing gear can come off, and a button shaped like R2-D2 opens a hatch on the bottom of the ship. The main mechanical highlight are the S-foils that flip open and lock into attack position. <\/p>\n

The model runs on three AA batteries or via a USB Type-C connection (batteries and cable not included). Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing Fighter can also be connected to the TIE Fighter model from the Ugears Star Wars collection<\/a> to create a larger Death Star surface, just like in the iconic Trench Run scene. <\/p>\n
