Metal Earth mars rover was a two-piece spacecraft used to transport a crew of two from lunar orbit to the surface of the moon and back. The descent stage served as the launch pad for the ascent and contained the landing gear, engines and fuel needed for landing. Six such craft successfully landed on the moon between 1969 and 1972. The Mars rover consists of two thin metal sheets. Cut or turn out all the pre-cut parts here first. Fold the parts into the right shape and put two pieces together by sliding tabs or pins through a slot. You can fully assemble this model without glue! Fine cutting and pointing pliers are handy to use, though. In the package, helpful instructions are always explained step by step.<\/p>\n
